A Railway Wagon styled Shepherd’s hut 16ft x 8ft
The chassis is based on our tried and tested shepherd’s hut formula, but lower and with wheels all the same size.
The carriage is a traditional timber-framed style, slightly curved and clad in exterior grade plywood.
The carriage is 8ft wide, slightly wider than our standard shepherd’s hut which gives us a bit more scope on the interior design and we wanted lots of natural light to make it spacious without wasting space.
The can be Fully Painted In Your Choice Of Colours.

The Railway hut will be available to stay in in the near future once it’s new home has been set up.
The carriage pictured above also has a small bathroom, containing shower, wash basin, and composting loo. It also has a corner seating area which converts to double bed, as well as a kitchenette and wood burning stove.
Hot water is provided via a hot water cylinder and the carriage is wired for 240v mains power.
